The unit has a wing section (13), where air-current (15) for stabilizing a racing car is used by the wing section. An angle of incidence of the wing section against the air-current is adjusted in a variable and situation dependent controlled manner. The wing section is arranged in a separate static frame (11) in an angle adjustable manner. A controller acts on the angle of incidence of the section, where the controller has a number of sensors and a storage unit with a database. An independent claim is also included for a stabilization system for a racing car.
