Axle load-compensating suspension for adjacent rigid axles in frame of e.g. truck, has rockers arranged with front drive areas whose distances with respect to rotation axis of compensator are set satisfying predetermined relationship
The suspension has rockers (25,29) arranged with front drive areas whose distances with respect to rotation axis (31) of a compensator (26) are set satisfying the relationship b/a c/d, where a and b are the distances from the front and rear bearing points (20-23) of the leaf springs (6,7) to the axle bodies (10,11) while c and d are distances of the drive areas to the rotation axis of the compensator. The leaf springs are arranged with the rigid axles (4,5) in the frame (2) of a commercial motor vehicle. The rigid axles have rigid axle bodies asymmetrically fastened at the leaf springs. Rear and front bearings (24,27) are used for linking the rockers to the leaf springs in tiltable manner.
