Automotive carburetor with adjustable fuel nozzle

The device has an air funnel (1) for induction of fuel from a fuel line (3) opening into the air funnel and connected to a fuel chamber (5) and a fuel nozzle (7) between the fuel chamber and the opening (4) in the funnel for setting a quantity of fuel that can be sucked in from the fuel chamber based on the vacuum in the air funnel. The fuel nozzle has a flow cross-section that can be varied by means of a piezoelectric actuator (8).
