The invention concerns a device for setting in motion a platform (7) supporting a simulator cockpit. Said platform is supported by three springs or like devices (6 to 8) and driven by tensed cables (10 to 15) actuated by a motor drive control device (DA). Thus the actuators and their hydraulic power units of prior art devices are no longer required.
