Brief description of a protective glazing for verrieres and stained glass or glass obtained by such a process

The treatment of a glass window to produce a protective glazing for a stained glass window or casing comprises: (a) frosting the window; (b) applying oxides onto the window; (c) firing at a temperature between 500 and 850[deg]C for 3 to 7 minutes; (d) tempering at a temperature between 620 and 640[deg]C for 10 to 30 minutes. An independent claim is also included for the window treated by this method.
