The invention proposes an arrangement (10) for sealing between a cylinder head (12) and a cylinder head cover (14) of a motor vehicle engine having a bore (16) and a well (18) coaxial associated therewith by a substantially cylindrical injector (20) of determined diameter (d1) of said motor, of the type which comprises a seal (22) having at least one O-ring portion (24) which is mounted coaxially around the bore (16) and the well (18) at the junction of an upper face (26) of the yoke (12) and a lower face (28) of the cylinder head cover (14), characterized in that the seal (22) has a flat lip (30) which extends inwardly from its O-ring (24) projecting into the well (18) and is intended to lick the injector (20) to seal the well (18) to foreign bodies.
