Climatic variations simulating apparatus has a diurnal simulating cabin (2) and nocturnal simulating cabins (5a, 5b). A transferring unit transfers a vehicle from the cabins (5a, 5b) to the cabin (2), and another vehicle from the cabin (2) to the cabins (5a, 5b), such that the vehicles are simultaneously subjected to diurnal and nocturnal simulating cycles. The cabins (5a, 5b) are of reduced dimension with respect to the cabin (2). An independent claim is also included for a method of testing a motor vehicle using climatic variations simulating apparatus.
