The saw has a fixed plate (13) having a cutting blade at one end, and guiding a calibrated tube (2) having horizontal to and fro movement. The tube is moved by a rotating grooved cylinder (3), inserted in the tube (2), driven by an electric motor (4). The cylinder transforms its rotational movement into to and fro movement by cooperating with a groove inclined on an axis of the cylinder cooperating with a screw (7) on the tube.
