The system has a movable unit (B) mounted sliding on a vertical guiding unit (A) fixed to a saddle`s lateral flap. The unit (A) has a fastening unit fastening a connection unit (8) to a stirrup (9). A locking unit (3) allows a vertical movement of a slide of the unit (B) to adjust height of the unit (B) and locking of the unit (B) in position by cooperating the unit (3) with a retention unit (2) placed opposite on a length of the unit (A). An independent claim is also included for a horse-riding saddle having a height adjusting system.
