The control has a radial arm (1) movable around an axis and a pressure operated control unit (3) comprising control surfaces (31, 33) that are connected to a power switch controlling operations of a motor vehicle. The control surfaces are arranged along the arm and tangential to the arm, such that a pressure force exerted on the control surfaces for controlling the switch does not drive the rotation movement of the arm around the axis. An independent claim is also included for an assembly of a steering wheel mounted control.
