SIMILAR SHAPE SEARCH DEVICE, SIMILAR SHAPE SEARCH METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a search means not presently existing for a partial feature shape in a polyhedral shape. PSOLUTION: Input shape model data are converted into triangular mesh data, and the triangular mesh data forming the partial feature shape are extracted to be classified. A feature amount of a triangular mesh data group expressing the classified partial feature shapes is calculated, and a difference with respect to a feature amount of a search shape is calculated thereafter to display the partial feature shape or the search shape having the small difference in the feature amount.
