PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing tool in which an ink impregnated in an ink absorber in a tube is fed to an edge of a writing tool such as a pen point through an ink-feeding tube, wherein the bubbling of a trace amount of the ink remained in the ink-feeding tube is prohibited by introducing air from the writing part, so that the complete consumption of the ink can accurately be detected. PSOLUTION: In the ink as a writing tool capable of detecting the complete consumption of ink, one or more of a silicone type, a silica mineral oil type, a metal soap type, an amide type, an olefin type or an acetylene type de-foaming agent is incorporated in an ink in order to prohibit foam generation.
