PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new chemical ingredients as un-utilized resources.;SOLUTION: This compound is obtained by extracting the carpophores of Trichia favoginea var. persimilis with methanol and acetone, gathering the extracts, distilling away the solvents from the mixture, subjecting the obtained extract to silica gel column chromatography, and further subjecting the eluted fraction to ODS column chromatography. The compound is also obtained by purifying the fraction eluted with chloroform solvent with ODS column chromatography and further purifying the obtained fraction with high speed liquid chromatography.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
