PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure detection simulation system, a failure detection simulation method and a program capable of shortening the simulation time.;SOLUTION: This simulation system, the failure detection simulation system for determining whether a circuit failure can be detected, has a failure model parameter for showing the characteristics of failure state with respect to an object element of a net list 20 indicating the circuit, a test condition setting part 50 for setting the expectation value of the input and the output to the object element, a net list simplifying part 25 for simplifying the net list 20 by integrating two or more elements into one element, a simulation circuit generating part for generating a simulation circuit based on the failure model parameter, and a circuit simulation execution part for determining whether failure can be detected, based on the set test conditions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
