PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide commodity information of commodities matched with commodities such as clothes owned by a consumer.;SOLUTION: A commodity information providing apparatus allowed to be communicable with a plurality of terminal apparatuses through a network and capable of providing the commodity information of commodities to a certain terminal apparatus in accordance with a request from the terminal apparatus is provided with: a storage means having a commodity database in which the commodity information of a plurality of commodities to be worn by a user of the terminal apparatus and commodity combination information indicating the combinations of the plurality of commodities are registered; a commodity retrieving means for retrieving the same or similar commodities as/to the commodities indicated by commodity selection information while referring to the commodity information registered in the commodity database when the commodity selection information indicating the selection of commodities is received from the terminal apparatus, and retrieving a commodity to be combined with the commodity retrieved by referring to the commodity combination information registered in the commodity database as a combination commodity; and a commodity information providing means for providing at least the commodity information of the retrieved combination commodity to the terminal apparatus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
