PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a golf ball of excellent wear resistance and excellent adhesive strength between the cured paint film of a UV cured paint and the cover surface of the golf ball, and to provide the golf ball obtained using the manufacturing method.;SOLUTION: A layer of a primer composition containing aqueous resin having a UV cured functional group in a skeleton, and a crosslinking agent is formed on the cover surface of the golf ball.
