PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination method of appropriate initial contaminant concentration to accurately obtain the quantitative evaluation of the elution of contaminants from a solidified body. PSOLUTION: The solidified body having specific dimensions is dipped into a solvent for necessary time, lapse time and the amount of change in contaminant concentration in the solvent are measured, an asymptotic value CSB0/SBin integral elusion mass CSBdif/SBper volume of the solidified body in the contaminants flowing out of a specimen is obtained based on the obtained measurement value, and the asymptotic value CSB0/SBis set to be initial contaminant concentration.
