PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hierarchical intrinsic space extraction device, a hierarchical intrinsic space extraction method, a hierarchical intrinsic space extraction program which are valid even when only the small number of pieces of adaptive data for voice recognition exists and by which difficulty from the viewpoint of calculation quantity can be evaded and a device, etc., for creating an adaptive model to be adapted to a specific speaker by using information obtained by them. PSOLUTION: A speaker model 203 is created by inputting speaker data 201 for learning of many speakers in a speaker model creation means 202. The speaker model 203 is inputted in a hierarchical class intrinsic space extraction means 204, intrinsic spaces formed by extracting knowledge based on speaker characteristics of nodes or leafs of a hierarchy immediately under the present one are extracted for the respective nodes.
