PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve the convenience of first and second batteries for changing, by constituting a control means which charges a second battery with the electric energy of a first battery in such a way that the means receives operating power from the first battery. ;SOLUTION: A power unit for vehicle is provided with a feeder line 19 connected to the positive electrode of a first battery 1, and another feeder line 21 connected to the positive electrode of a second battery 2, in such a way that the lines 19 and 21 are connected to a CPU 20 which works as a control circuit to supply electric power to the CPU 20. A control means 26 charges the second battery 2 with the electric energy of the first battery 1, but, when both the batteries 1 and 2 completely discharge and an external battery 30 is connected to the first battery 1, the means 26 received operating power from the battery 1. Therefore, the batteries 1 and 2 of its own vehicle can be restored from the completely discharged states by means of another vehicle and the convenience of the batteries 1 and 2 for restoration can be improved remarkably.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
