PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle condition detecting probe and a particle condition detector of simple constitution capable of eliminating a measuring error affected by flocculation caused by a high flow velocity of test water, and capable of stably measuring a coagulation characteristic.;SOLUTION: This probe/detector is provided with a light projection part for emitting a laser beam into the test water, a photoreception part provided in the vicinity of the projection part to receive scattered light or transmission light, a support member for supporting the projection part and the photoreception part respectively in the condition where an irradiation area of the laser beam by the projection part is crossed with a photoreception area of the scattered light by the photoreception part, or the condition where the laser beam transmitted through the test water is received, so as to specify a measuring area for a particle condition in the test water, and a cover body provided in an outer envelope of the measuring area, and allowing passing (coming-in and going-out) of the test water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
