PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a trend control of a transformer facilities quick and speedy by sorting the data required to monitor the transformer facility into two kinds, one which is always needed and the other which must be inputted as required so as to make 24-hour on-call feasible, thus unifying the information. SOLUTION: A remote monitor system detects at least an input current 5 and a trip instruction input to a circuit breaker and sends the first detected result to the monitor 11 in the monitor center 2 through a communication network (1) like the Internet. The first detected result, the second detected result obtained by measuring partial discharges of the facilities in the transformer station, and various information containing the results of other measurements are stored in a transformer station server 12 to build a database 13. The above monitor system monitors the circuit breaker characteristics and partial discharges, then makes trend diagnosis on the facilities, and estimates their remaining lives depending on the first detected result and the second detected result obtained through a communication network (2) like a public telephone line or a leased line.
