The lock has a cylinder house (1) set around a rotating cylinder core (2) that includes number of radial slots. The cylinder core has a number of radially oriented recesses for lock pins, for exploring a side of a key (5), and an axial current channel connection is made between two radial recesses for exploring a flank together with a lock bar as part of the lock. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a combination of a rotary cylinder lock and a key (2) a cylinder house for a rotary cylinder lock.
