Solidified maltitol is prepared by turbulence of a gas maltitol powder and contact of the same common maltitol-containing syrup where the amount of the powder is 242 the amount of syrup. Solidified maltitol has superior properties in bakery products. It is also suitable in other food products such as confectionery, chewing gum toppings and tablets.
