Thickener for mixing the dry system for preparation of a beverage containing milk product comprises a buffer, a hydrocolloid and a chelation agent comprising tetrasodium pyrophosphate.When the system thickener for the dry mixture is added to milk, a viscosity is formed in about 20 seconds to about 90 seconds to deliver a product to drink thickened, without the formation of insoluble aggregates of the hydrocolloid. No heating is required.In addition, the only drag required to incorporate the thickening system for mixing dry milk is a hand agitation.
