Disclosed in a methud for generatingl a public long coul mask (PL4-CM) so that a mobile station can receive a Board cast/Mulicate Service (BCMCS), in amobile communucation system a base station and at least one mobile located in a celli occupied by he base station. the BCMCiS being provided from the base station in the mobile station. The PLCM is creat by a combining a BCMCS flow indenfile BCMC FLOW (D) and a BCMC service reference identifier BSR (D)matched the from a BCMCS service parain messsage 1BSSPM including information related to the BCMC FLOW Indicatting individual flow IDs for identying flow from repective befour saons and RSR IDs marched to the BCMC FLOW IDs, the BSPM being transmine from the have station to the mobile stationover one channel.
