Method of definition of individual peculiarities of the schoolchildren voluntary attention includes automatic presentation of the pair of acoustic stimulus (preventive and imperative), pressing the button in reply to presented imperative signal with simultaneous measuring of the brain bioelectric activity, measuring of amplitude of components of the evoked electroencephalographic potentials. According to the invention, the pressing of the button in reply to produced imperative signal is realized in a case of the pair of high- or low-frequency stimulus of the identical tonality and fail in a case of the pair of signals that have a different tonality. Simultaneous abduction of bioelectric activity of a brain is carried out in 16 standard leads, in correspondence with the 10-20 system. The measuring of the amplitudes and latent phases of components of the evoked electroencephalographic potentials and the determining of the children with a poor expressiveness of amplitudes of components N1, P2, UNBi, UNBt, P300 is made, and also the latent phases of a complex of waves P1-N1-P2, have a high significance, that testifies about the unformity of mechanisms of voluntary attention.
