METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE GRADE OF VODKA OR BRANDY

The proposed method for determining the grade of vodka or brandy consists in applying alternating voltage 0.1 ... 200 kHz in frequency to the beverage sample, determining the characteristic that defines the ratio between the active component of the conductivity of the sample and the reactive component as a function of frequency, determining the frequencies that correspond to the maximal and minimal values of the characteristic and the values of the characteristic at frequencies of 2 kHz and 200 kHz, comparing the obtained data with the standard data, and determining the grade of the beverage by the comparison results.
