METHOD FOR INCREASING OUTPUT OF HAPLOID SUGAR BEET PLANTS

A method for increasing the output of haploid sugar beet plants includes isolating of non-unfertilized seed germs or embryos, cultivating thereof on a nutrient medium, obtaining the macrostructures, assessing the ploidy and selecting haploid materials. Plants pollinated with the pollen of Beta webbiana L. are used as donor plants for introducing into the in vitro culture.
