摘要

The method involves irradiating a sample (40) using light of a wavelength that is suitable to excite fluorescent light (28) in the sample. The fluorescent light is received in a receiver and then converted into a measurement signal. A reference light is additionally fed to the receiver for compensating ambient influences and then converted into a reference measurement signal. An optical path of an excitation light entering the sample and the fluorescent light leaving the sample are separated from the optical path of the reference light having the same wavelength as the excitation light. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for determining fluorescence of a sample (2) an application of a device in a bioreactor, in chemical and/or biological analysis or in medical diagnosis.
