Procedure manufacturing thermosensitive recording materials for a range of wavelengths of 660-690 nm of bar code readers, the recording material comprising a base layer and a coating being, including coating at least one color former and a developer, wherein the forming and the color developer are chosen so that the set of color former-developer is composed of 3- (diethylamine-6) -methyl-7- (3metilfenilamina) fluoran (ODB-7) as color former and one between 4-4¿-sulfonildefenol (Bisphenol S) and 4, 4¿-isopropylidenediphenol as the developer.
