[PROBLEMS] To provide a glass wool molding that avoids the use of binder and realizes handling easiness equivalent to those exhibited when molded with the use of binder, being applicable to a wide spectrum of fields, such as uses in cores of vacuum heat insulation materials, building materials and heat insulation materials for automobiles. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided a process for producing a glass wool molding, comprising forming a glass material into fibers to thereby obtain glass wools, collecting glass wools into a glass wool mat and carrying out press molding of the glass wool mat, wherein water is fed so that the glass wool mat exhibits a water content of 0.1 to 7.0 mass%, and wherein the press molding is carried out while maintaining the temperature at 250° to 450°C.
