The application relates to a slab having a decorative surface, in particular for a floor covering, which has an abrasion-resistant surface. The abrasion-resistant surface is produced by means of one or more surface coating layers into which abrasion-resistant particles are introduced. The application further relates to a process for producing such a slab.
