The invention relates to a fitting (10) for fixing a unit piece of furniture (11) to a base piece of furniture (12), especially a desk, and furniture provided with one such fitting. The inventive fitting (10) has a holding arm (23) that can be fixed to the base and on which a fixing section (20) is arranged for fixing the unit piece of furniture (11), and a clamping lever (26) that can be pivoted on a pivoting bearing (27) about a pivoting axis (28) which is fixed in relation to the holding arm (23). Said clamping lever can be used to bring a clamping part (25) from a release position, in which the fitting (10) is moved away from the base furniture (12), into a clamping position, in which the clamping part (25) is clamped to a holding section (14) of the base (12). The clamping lever (26) comprises a handling section (42) that can be gripped by an operator, and a clamping section (41) which acts on the clamping part (25).
