It is intended to provide a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and/or treating a bone disease which can shorten a period necessary for cure and has high safety and a functional food and the like and a tooth root-periodontal tissue formation promoting agent containing the composition. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and/or treating a bone disease, a tooth root-periodontal tissue formation promoting agent and the like which contain, as an active ingredient, at least one selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by the formula (I), a physiologically acceptable salt thereof and a hydrate thereof are provided. As a result, the prevention and/or treatment of a bone disease can be carried out safely in a short period of time. Further, the prevention and/or regeneration therapy of a periodontal disease can be carried out effectively.
