An apparatus for measuring a freeplay of a control surface of an airplane is provided to accurately compute a part exchange period of an airplane control surface by measuring the freeplay at the airplane control surface more accurately. In an apparatus for measuring a freeplay of a control surface(10) of an airplane, a loading unit(20) rotates the control surface upward and downward by applying a predetermined external force thereto. At least one displacement measuring sensor(30) arranged on one side of the control surface measures a displacement of the control surface and transforms the measured value to an electric signal. And, an output device(40) connected to the displacement sensor outputs the electric displacement signal measured by the displacement measuring sensor.
