A method for integrally managing communities based on the Internet is provided to enable a user to integrally search the communities having a similar character and effectively advertise the user community by integrating the communities scattered over portal sites and community providing sites. Registration information for the community opened or operated by a community operator is received and stored to a database(S12). The registration information includes a community kind, name, URL(Uniform Resource Locator) address, class information, and keyword field. A community user searches community information by using community registration information(S20). An integrated community management server provides community AD(ADvertisement) and a search result for the community information requested from the community user(S30).
