A fire detector for detecting spark and fire in a duct and a fire extinguishing system using the same are provided to detect fire within 0.3 second by using one or more detecting sensors and an amplifying portion. The fire detector for detecting spark and fire in a duct includes a housing(21), a spark detecting sensor(22), an amplifying portion(23) and a communication portion(24). The spark detecting sensor(22) is installed on the front of the housing(21) and detects spark and fire generated inside a duct(10). The amplifying portion(23) is built in the housing(21) and amplifies the signal detected in the spark detecting sensor(22). The communication portion(24) is built in the housing(21) and transmits the signal amplified in the amplifying portion(23) to the outside.
