The present invention relates to a detecting device and an asynchronous transmission method in a wireless communication system . A transmitter according to the invention, the correlator correlating the preamble signal with the transmitted signal sample , detecting a peak in the correlation value from the correlator , and the frame is determined by comparing the reference time and the peak detection time to determine whether the asynchronous transmission includes groups . By this invention the asynchronous operation of the transmitter is detected in advance , and automatic shut-off , there is an advantage to ensure stability of the overall system operation .
