A method and a device for processing authentication, and a computer-readable recording medium storing an authentication processing program are provided to authenticate qualification of a user and a communication party, and apply to an information communication system or a key opening/closing system by improving stability of an authentication process. An obtainer(41) obtains present authentication information generated by a value from an authenticated device. A receiver(42) receives the first transmission information, which hides the next authentication information with the present authentication information, and the second transmission information, which hides the value with the next authentication information, from the authenticated device. A calculator(43) calculates the next authentication information by using the received first transmission information and the present authentication information of the obtainer, and calculates the value by using the next authentication information and the second transmission information. A determiner(44) authenticates the user based on the calculated value and the present authentication information.
