HEALTH RICE COOKER AND METHOD FOR REMOVING STARCH IN RICE

A health rice cooker and a method for removing starch in rice is provided to reduce a starch content in rice to assist health of a human body without any influence on tissue of the rice. A health rice cooker includes an outer case, an inner pot(15), a cooker cover(1), a heating plate(9), a temperature regulation device(4), a power input terminal, a controller, and a starch removal device. The starch removal device includes an intermediate case(12), a water reservoir(3), and a drain vessel(7). The intermediate case is disposed between the inner pot and the outer case. The water reservoir is installed at an outer part of the intermediate case. The drain vessel is installed at a bottom of the intermediate case, is connected to the outer case and has a drawer structure to readily remove water from the drain vessel.
