AUTOMATED FINANCE SYSTEM USING TRAFFIC PASSCARD AND METHOD USING TRAFFIC PASSCARD

An ATM using a traffic card and a traffic card using method thereof are provided to enable a user to charge the traffic card without visiting a traffic card charging shop by applying an RF(Radio Frequency) module to the ATM, and enable the user to use banking and additional services in the ATM by using the traffic card. The ATM(10) provides a traffic card charging function by using RF communication. A traffic card system(20) stores mileage information generated by use of the traffic card and charging history of the traffic card to a database, and approves payment of transaction using the traffic card. A banking server(30) processes the banking requested through the ATM, and enables the customer to charge the traffic card by settling charge amount information inputted to the ATM with a predetermined account and providing the charge amount information to the ATM. The ATM includes the RF module transceiving the information with the traffic card embedded with an RF IC chip, a traffic card processor reading the information stored in the traffic card, and a controller.
