BROADCAST RECEIVING APPARATUS AND DISPLAYING METHOD OF USER INTERFACE FOR SETTING BLOCKING LEVELS

A broadcasting receiving apparatus and a method for displaying a UI(User Interface) for setting blocking levels are provided to enable a user to recognize data easily about blocking level definition transmitted through a broadcasting signal and set the blocking functions more conveniently. A broadcasting receiving apparatus comprises the following parts: a broadcasting receiver(10) for receiving downloadable data about blocking level definition transmitted from the outside; a data storage(50) for storing data about the blocking level definition; a UI(User Interface) generator(60) for generating a UI for setting the blocking levels; and a controller(70) which displays upper item data of data about the blocking level definition in a first axis direction of the UI, and controls the UI generator so as to arranges lower item data, belonging to the selected upper item data, in a second axis direction different from the first axis direction.
