RADIO-LABELED PYRAZINEAMIDE COMPOSITE AND ITS KIT AS RADIOPHAMARCEUTICALS FOR IMAGING TUBERCULOSIS

A radio-labeled pyrazineamide(PZA) composition and a kit for radiopharmaceuticals for imaging tuberculosis are provided to find out whether tubercle bacillus is infected and where the tubercle bacillus is infected by administering pyrazineamide(PZA) bound to a radionuclide into animal or human body. A pharmaceutical composition for radiopharmaceuticals for imaging tuberculosis comprises a PZA compound represented by the formula(1) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and a radionuclide selected from the group consisting of Tc-99m, indium-111, iodine-131 and iodine-123. The kit for preparing radiopharmaceuticals for imaging tuberculosis comprises the composition and a reducing agent such as formamidine sulfinic acid and formamidine sulfonic acid.
