A vibration reduction unit of a cable in a cable-stayed girder bridge and a vibration reduction method thereof are provided to reduce vibration of the cable by moving an end of the cable perpendicularly, and to improve appearance of the cable-stayed girder bridge by fixing a damping unit in an anchorage and the end of the cable. A vibration reduction unit(100) of a cable(30) in a cable-stayed girder bridge includes a damping unit(40) installed in the cable connected to a deck(20) of the bridge for reducing vibration of the cable. The end of the cable is moved to the diameter of the cable in the deck by a moving unit, and a bearing unit(50) is fastened to the cable and the deck of the cable-stayed girder bridge. The cable is inserted to a penetration hole of the bearing unit, and the bearing unit is composed of plural metal plates laminated and arranged longitudinally and plural rubber members arranged between the plates, made of plate rubber and mounted to the metal plates. Vibration of the cable is reduced by a high damping rubber.
