A confected functional food is provided to simply eat various edible and medicinal mushrooms including Lentinus edodes, Ganoderma lucidum, and Phellinus linteus having anti-diabetic activity, and easily use various physiological functions of the mushrooms. The confected functional food comprises any one of Lentinus edodes, Ganoderma lucidum, and Phellinus linteus, Sarcodon aspratus, Auricularia auricula-judae, Pleurotus ostreatus, King Oyster Mushroom, Agaricus bisporus, Agaricus, Sparassis crispa spawns. The method for preparing the functional food comprises the steps of (i) low temperature vacuum drying and concentrating any one of the mushrooms spawns or slices, (ii) adding 1 kg of medicinal herb(mixture of jujube, cinnamon, licorice root, Angelica gigas Nakai, Pleuropterus multflorus, and red ginseng at 1:1:1:1:1:1 by weight) to 10 L of edible water and followed heating the herbs and water to extract of the medicinal herbs, (iii) preparing a dipping sugar liquid comprising honey and oligosaccharide at 50:50 by volume, and (iv) adding the extract to the dehydrated spawn slice, dipping the slice into the dipping liquid, and drying the slice.
