A binder resin composed mainly of the ceramic powder and, with butyral resin, a coating material for green sheet having a solvent. The solvent, the first solvent is relatively low boiling point to satisfactorily dissolve the binder resin, and a second solvent of high boiling point than the first solvent. The boiling point of the second solvent in the range of 130~230 ℃. The second solvent is from 5 to 70 mass% for the entire solvent to 100% by weight, and more preferably contains 8~52%.
