A method for lining an agitator of a desulfurization reactor and the agitator of a desulfurization reactor produced by the same are provided to reduce noise during operation and to use permanently the agitator by easily exchanging a rubber sheet layer installed on the surface. A method for lining an agitator of a desulfurization reactor comprises the steps of: degreasing the surface except for a bush unit(20) of the agitator, by a cleaner containing a surfactant and uniformly spraying sand particles of 0.4~1.6mm on the surface of a wing for 0.1~0.2 seconds by using a blaster; applying first primer on the cleaned surface at 5~10 micron meters, drying the first primer for 30~45 minutes, and applying an adhesive agent at 25~50 micron meters; drying the adhesive agent for 40~60 minutes and laminating inner and outer layers(1a,1b) of the width expanded outward to cover the upper and lower surfaces of each wing(2) of the agitator with a rubber sheet made of rubber mixture; and inspecting the abnormal state of a bonded part of the inner and outer layers and then curing the inner and outer layers for 12~15 hours in a vulcanizer keeping 140~150°C and 4.5~5.0kg/cm^2. The rubber mixture is produced by mixing a 4~7 wt.% of zinc oxide, a 1~2 wt.% of stearic acid, a 1~2 wt.% of sulfur, a 45~55 wt.% of carbon, a 1~2 wt.% of vulcanizing accelerator, and a 1~2 wt.% of anti-aging agent.
