FIELD: sewing industry.;SUBSTANCE: method involves plotting back and strip drawings; drawing folding line for lapel and collar; forming contours of lapel; drawing additional line extending in parallel with lapel folding line from apex of shoulder line; plotting line of stitching of collar into back neck; drawing collar folding line along perpendicular to line of stitching of collar into back neck; plotting height of upright and width of fly-off part and forming collar contours; to do that, after plotting of strip drawing, calculating distance from lower point of lapel folding line to leading part of raskep line and plotting resultant distance from lower point of lapel folding line to leading part of raskep line; calculating length of lapel; drawing arc of the circle having radius equal to calculated length of lapel from lower point of lapel folding line; calculating width of lapel; drawing arc of the circle having radius equal to width of lapel from point of leading part of raskep line lying on lapel folding line; finding point of lapel angle; calculating inclination angle of line of stitching of collar into neck; drawing line of stitching of collar into neck at calculated angle from apex of shoulder line; providing notch extending from apex of shoulder line on line of stitching of collar to back neck, said notch having radius equal to length of back neck; calculating and plotting length of lapel step; calculating angle between collar end and lapel step; drawing line of collar end at calculated angle; calculating and plotting width of collar end.;EFFECT: improved quality of collar pattern used in manufacture of sewing articles from check fabric or strip fabric.;2 dwg
