FIELD: machine engineering, possibly detecting emergency state of thermally stressed machine parts.;SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing active pickup made of material with shape memory effect on surface of part and determining its electric resistance; cyclically interrupting operation of part and cooling it; detecting value of electric resistance of active pickup; preventing part exploitation when electric resistance of active pickup achieves critical value for part material.;EFFECT: improved operational reliability of thermally stressed parts, simplified process for detecting their emergency state.;1 dwg
