Process for preparation of Li-polymer energy storage unit having active anode and cathode compositions (AACC) and a conductor, in which the AACC are intensively comminuted or mixed with conductive salts and optionally conductive salt additives and/or solvents, are converted to batches with polymer binders, extruded, and separately laminated to the conductor material, and the electrodes are formed into a sandwich with the separator as intermediate layer. A process for preparation of a Li-polymer energy storage unit (battery) having active anode and cathode compositions and a conductor, in which the active electrode compositions are intensively comminuted or mixed with conductive salts and optionally conductive salt additives and/or solvents, the active electrode compositions are converted to batches with polymer binders, extruded and separately laminated at up to 100degreesC to the conductor material, and the electrodes are formed into a sandwich with the separator as the intermediate layer is new. Independent claims are included for: (1) a composite formed after application of the electrode composition to a conductor are passed through a drying zone, in which the solvent contained in the electrode compositions, preferably an alkyl carbonate is partially or completely evaporated off giving porous structures in the electrode compositions; (2) lamination of the electrode compositions to the separator with or with out a conductor; (3) production of an Li-polymer battery by coating and/or rolling with polarization; (4) preparation of electrophoretic systems, diodes, sensors, or energy storage units; (5) an Li-polymer energy storage unit (battery).
